APB SECURE A 45,000 SQ FT INDUSTRIAL LETTING AT 160 - 164 BARKBY ROAD
Tuk In Foods one of the fastest growing Indian Food brands has acquired a new industrial unit to cope with growing demand for their range of food to go products.
The deal was facilitated by APB saw the Tuk In Foods take 44,997sq. ft facility with a large secure yard on Barkby Road in Leicester.
The unit consisted of a modern industrial building, located on the Troon Industrial Estate, to the northeast of Leicester. The unit offers excellent road access out of Leicester via the Outer Ring Road, leading to the M1 (J21) and also to the A46 and A6 trunk roads.
Reg Pollock, a Partner at APB, commented:
“We brought Barkby Road to the market, knowing there was a shortage of good quality industrial stock of this size. There was exceptionally good levels of interest, with a number of parties offering on the building”.
“Subject to this, we assessed the strength of the individual parties and decided to progress with Tuk In Foods Limited. The Lease was completed within 4 weeks of instruction of solicitors”.
“Tuk In Foods Limited produce a wide selection of Indian foods and Barkby Road would allow them to expand their range and production”.
Tom Cropper of Tuk In Foods Limited commented:
“Finding a quality site in Leicester that will support the continued growth of the business, and secure significant further employment for the area, has been critical to our expansion plans. Our experience working with APB and Charles Street Buildings was extremely positive, and we appreciate their support to turn it around efficiently and professionally.”
