Three Industrial deals show confidence is back within the Industrial Market.

APB (Leicester) LLP has started the year strong with three industrial deals within the first six weeks of the new year. These deals consist of 55,000 sq. ft. letting at Winchester Avenue in Blaby, 15,000 sq. ft. sale at Hollow Road in Ansty and 8,000 sq. ft. letting in Viking Road Wigston.

The letting at Winchester Avenue was to a tenant seeking more space to expand their business, there were three interested parties in the unit showing the shortage of mid-box available stock within Leicester and the surrounding areas.

The Viking Road letting was to a company that decided to downsize and streamline their business, they were based near Thurmaston in Leicester. The letting was completed within four weeks of viewing the property.

The sale at Hollow Road was to an owner-occupier looking to increase their square footage to expand their packaging business.

Reg Pollock of APB said, there had been a distinct slowdown in the second half of 2025 in industrial take up, this had been due to the budget being pushed back, and general uncertainty within the market, now that businesses are aware of what is happening in a wider economic world they are now prepared to commit to premises to benefit their business. We have seen a distinct increase in activity since the beginning of the new year and are continuing to push on with other sites that we are dealing with.
